This is more than merchandise. Every piece here is named in Ephesians 6, and every one of them is something you are told to put on before you go anywhere.
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand.

The Belt of Truth
Worn at the waist
Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth.
Ephesians 6:14
Truth goes on first and is worn under everything else. It is not the piece anyone sees; it is the reason the rest of it holds.

The Breastplate of Righteousness
Worn over the heart
And having put on the breastplate of righteousness.
Ephesians 6:14
Armour over the heart, because the heart is what gets aimed at. Not the righteousness you worked up. The righteousness you were handed.

The Shoes of the Gospel of Peace
Worn on the feet
And having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace.
Ephesians 6:15
Peace is footwear. It is what lets you keep your feet on ground that is not level, and what gets you to the places you are sent.
IV
The Shield of Faith
Carried on the arm
Above all, taking the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
Ephesians 6:16
Carried, not worn. Faith is the only piece you have to keep lifting, and the one that covers whatever the others leave open.

The Helmet of Salvation
Worn on the head
And take the helmet of salvation.
Ephesians 6:17
What you know you have been saved from is what guards how you think. The mind is where most of it is fought, and this is the thing that holds it.
VI
The Sword of the Spirit
Held in the hand
And the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Ephesians 6:17
The one piece that is not armour. Everything else on the figure is for standing. This is for answering.
